I love virtual reality and what better way to enjoy it than by pitting my friends against each other in exciting, albeit pointless, physical and mental tasks? Recently, I invited my tech-savvy colleagues Dash and Josie to try out Task Master VR, a new title on the Meta Quest 3 that perfectly recreates the iconic comedy game show. How did they fare? Let’s dive into the chaotic fun they experienced!

Imagine stepping into a virtual world where you become the star—or maybe the victim—of a series of wacky tasks. That's the essence of Task Master VR. Once a player answers the phone, they receive a list of mini tasks to complete in any order.

• Complete the list, and you'll get another call with an even longer chain of tasks.
• Your aim is to complete as many tasks as possible within 20 minutes.

The virtual approximations of Greg Davies and his assistant, Little Alex Horne, pass judgment on the players, making it both thrilling and nerve-wracking.

Getting Started 🕹️

The game starts once the phone rings. The first set of tasks might be simple, such as flushing a toilet, feeding a horse some dog food, crouching up and down in a dome, or even kissing a statue of Greg on the head. Dash and Josie took on these tasks with varying degrees of success and chaos.

Despite these obstacles, he managed to kiss Greg's statue and complete a few other tasks, admitting that the game was more physically demanding than anticipated.

Starting Strong Josie plunged head-first into the chaos, quickly completing tasks that were in her comfort zone.

Managing the Madness Though she started strong, madness ensued as Josie navigated through a messy virtual environment. *“I just teleported through the world! Improvements in VR Technology It’s worth mentioning that both players noticed the significant improvements in VR technology. The Meta Quest 3 offers a more immersive experience than previous VR systems, making it easier to lose yourself in the game’s zany world.
